Hi. This also happened to me some time ago.

There is a merge request here about that:

https://salsa.debian.org/salsa-ci-team/pipeline/-/merge_requests/581

I think salsa should ignore this gitattributes thing by default.
It's a pain in the ass.

Unfortunately, the merge request is blocked because it seems to be
"controversial" due to the way it affects tag2upload.
