Hi, I just sat down to fix the node-rollup-pluging-typescript2 package that was affecting the migration and noticed not only that it has already been fixed, but typescript version 4.9.5 is also now in testing! weepingclown@circus:~$ rmadison --suite testing node-typescript node-typescript | 4.9.5+ds1-2 | testing | source, all Thanks rouca for finishing up the remaining work! As an addendum, I'd mention that the typescript version in debian is still too old. Upstream is already looking at 5.7-rc and the gap is only going to widen at this rate. It'd be nice to have at least the current major version (which would still likely change in the coming 2 years) in trixie. That said, I don't exactly have uses for js/ts in my life and I am no wizard of it either. Nonetheless, I'd be willing to help if a transition were to be started (I am certainly not starting yet another by myself, being unable to finish it leaves quite a bad aftertaste for me). And if we are doing that, It is probably best to just skip to 5.0.4 instead of just going through all the minor versions of 5.0.*. As far as I remember, the only major breaking changes were some enum behaviour changes (which I could be wrong about). In any case, this looks like the perfect to time to request a transition from the release team and going for it. -- Best, Ananthu
