Hmmm...
$ editor /etc/X11/WindowMaker/background.menu
Include /usr/local/share/KidsPlayground/Backgrounds in the paths used
for backgrounds. (or change the definition of LOCAL_BACKGROUND_DIR)
$ mkdir -p /usr/local/share/KidsPlayground/Backgrounds
$ chown :kids /usr/local/share/KidsPlayground/Backgrounds
$ chmod g+rwxs /usr/local/share/KidsPlayground/Backgrounds
The tricky part is getting the kids to understand that they have to
download the backgrounds to the special directory, which shouldn't be
hard as they already have to understand they have to put the
backgrounds in some particular place.
Same for themes.
I'd be pleased to change stuff or provide hooks as needed.
