OEM Linux Engineer position at Lenovo

There is a position in the OEM team at Lenovo looking for someone with
Linux experience. I think the position would be interesting so figured I
would post it. If there are any questions I can probably help answer them.

The OEM Linux Engineer will engage with OEM customers, partners, sales,
and Lenovo product teams to evaluate, test, and drive technical
requirements for complex OEM solution offerings. While Lenovo’s OEM
business leverages its existing portfolio of products, there are many
opportunities to customize Linux offerings for unique OEM solutions, and
the role of the Linux engineer will help OEM customers and sales teams
evaluate and understand what is possible and how best to execute on
technical solution requirements.  The Linux engineer will also develop
technical relationships with key alliance partners, suppliers, and
integrators in the ecosystem to ensure Lenovo is in the best technical
posture to meet the needs of the market. The Linux engineer will have
responsibility for requirements input to Lenovo product development &
Linux development teams and will engage in specific testing and Linux
certifications for the OEM business.

Additional responsibilities include:  Participate in initial customer
issue debugging and data collection, develop Proof of Concepts (POC)
based on customer requirements for validation which may include
Hardware, Linux OS and 3rd Party offerings, setup demo’s for customer to
review POC’s, assist with test plans and stay engaged with internal &
external teams during solution development. set and manage expectations
around solutions, internally and externally, evaluate customer solution
for optimization and best alignment to Lenovo products/services,
understand emerging technologies and products and Lenovo's strategies to
address them, collaborate with OEM Solution Architects, Customers, Sales
team and extended Lenovo teams. Write technical white paper to promote
Lenovo products
