Software Engineer Developer Tools at SUSE
Hi!
My company SUSE is looking for a software engineer to work on development
tools such as IDEs and continuous integration systems to improve their
integration into SUSE's platforms SUSE Linux Enterprise as well as the
openSUSE distributions codebase in general. This also includes working
on SUSE's famous Open Build Service (OBS) as well as the very powerful
openQA which is used for automated quality testing of our distributions,
especially our rolling release distribution Tumbleweed.
Being a true open source company, SUSE employees are always determined to
share their contributions with the rest of the community, so SUSE is one of
the major upstream contributor in the Linux and open source community. So,
even if you're not an openSUSE user (yet), your contributions will certainly
reach your Linux distribution of choice.
Location is Nuremberg, Germany but you can also work in one of the many
SUSE offices around the globe or in home office. We are a very flexible
company in this regard.
I have been working for SUSE for over a year now and I'm very happy to
be part of the company. The working atmosphere is very relaxed and
friendly and the company has a lot to offer such as the bi-annual hack
week where everyone can work on a project of their choice and many social
events throughout the year such as a trip to FOSDEM :-). So, it's a great
experience to work at SUSE.
