System Administrator for website hosting - Exeter UK
Systems Administrator / Web Developer required to manage Linux and
Windows servers and do some web development.
Immediate duties include monitoring and maintaining the servers and
software for our two online website builders and client websites. Web
Development includes developments for our online website builder, a
membership database system and client websites.
This is an ideal opportunity for an individual to work in a small
company helping influence the future of the company. The job is based in
an Exeter office and we are happy for full time or flexitime or even
part-time.
Core skills required are Debian GNU/Linux, Apache, Postfix, Postgresql,
BIND, PHP, Perl, MYSQL, Windows Servers. It would be an advantage to
have some of the following: IIS, MS-SQL, Squid, Subversion, Shell
Scripting, Javascript, iptables, Dojo, classic ASP, Catalyst, OpenVPN.
Usage/knowledge of tablets, ie ipad and any android devices is useful.
The job could be full-time or part-time working based in Exeter office.
Remuneration depends upon hours and experience.
