Perens LLC has an opening for a Linux kernel consultant willing to
work remotely under my supervision. Payment is per assignment. I'm spending a lot of time consulting to law firms on copyright issues and have technical consultations coming in that I won't have time for. It's a combination at-home work and travel to locations on either US coast. This position is good for the competent hacker who (like me) wishes to maintain their intellectual freedom and thus doesn't want to work for a large firm. There will be NDAs and sometimes even background checks (I just went through an odious one for a Wall Street client), but the work you do on your own time is yours, and if you are political we don't interfere with that.
