Hello,
the company I work for, Register.it, has just opened a position for a
System Administrator:
Professional Background:
* excellent knowledge of Linux systems (Debian, RedHat, CentOS, Slackware)
* excellent knowledge of Bash
* experience clustering solutions with balancer Linux or with balancer
hardware, in order to ensure high reliability on configured systems
excellent knowledge of MySQL Server, Apache, Exim and configuration of
LAMP in general
* basic knowledge of networking and iptables
* excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
Requirements:
the ideal candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in the
field. Preferably he/she has experience working in large scale companies
that sell Hosting and Email services. Knowledge of PHP, C, C++, Python,
and SAN/NAS systems, as well as knowledge of Agile methods, are also a plus.
