Software development on Debian/GNU Linux, Karlsruhe, Germany

BFK, my employer, is hiring more developers. BFK specializes on
digital forensics in the broadest sense and provides intelligence and
post-mortem security services to financial and government institutions
in Germany and the world.

Your profile:

  - You must have prior programming experience, preferably both in a
statically typed and a dynamic programming language. (The company
runs mostly on Perl and PostgreSQL, but this might change.)

  - A basic understanding of the Internet protocol suite is desirable,
and you should be interested in computer networks and their
    security aspects.

  - Hardly surprising, good reading comprehension of technical English
    prose is an absolute must.

  - EU citizenship preferred. No telecommuting.

BFK offers:

  - On-the-job training for prospective Debian Developers.

  - Interesting insights into the current Internet threat landscape.

  - <insert usual blurb about working in a young, dynamic team at a
    small company>

If you are interested, submit your resume (and pointers to code you've
written) to <jobs@bfk.de>. (Please do not use any other contact
address; I hate to pull HR material from our ticketing system.)

If you want to have some informal chat first, you can contact me at
work at <fweimer@bfk.de>.
