software distribution channels that differentiates our platforms and supports
our customers at the "solutions" level. The organization is
responsible for meeting the requests of our channel customers worldwide for new
software (both client- and server-based) capabilities, features and solutions
using our platforms. Responsibilities The newly formed Channel Software Operation (CSO) is looking for an experienced
engineer to join the Technical Enabling Team as a senior Linux Solutions
Architect. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and
delivery of Linux* based solutions on Intel® architecture by working with our ecosystem and
end-users. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Software solution architecture - Software development and optimization - Pre/Post sales support & customer training Qualifications You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree, or a Master of Science
degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Additional qualifications include: - More than five years of experience with Linux*, hands on knowledge
and/or expertise with Intel® architecture (especially desktop and notebook),
and application and software solution stack development. - Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to
create compelling customer-centric messaging, presentations, and training - Ability to articulate technical information to technical, sales and
management audiences - Ability to take ambiguous problem statements and refine the core
issues, then develop focused and creative strategies, solutions and tactics - Highly motivated, self starter, and possess influencing skills with
great customer experience and hands-on technical expertise - Strong time and project management skills - Comfortable and have experience working with technical engineers as
well as marketing and/or sales across several geographies - Understanding of Intel's internal and channel customer's business
models and needs - Familiarity with Intel's channel field organization - Ability to travel (onsite customer enabling may involve travel to
