thanks, I've added openjdk-17 to security-support-limited now and used
https://www.debian.org/releases/bullseye/amd64/release-notes/ch-information.en.html#openjdk-17
as a link/reason why.

I've done this for the master and bullseye branch and intend to get
this into the next point release.

btw, it would be great if there were 
https://www.debian.org/releases/bookworm/amd64/release-notes/ch-information.en.html
already as that would be more appropriate for unstable right now.
