OIC. I haven’t run into that one yet.

How do I reproduce this with Java 8, anyway?

tglase@tglase:~ $ javac --release 1.8
javac: invalid flag: --release
Usage: javac <options> <source files>
use -help for a list of possible options

Despite http://openjdk.java.net/jeps/247 indicating
it should be supported.

(If for nothing else, then to see whether there are
any Sun-internal class uses left by breaking the build.)
