Hi! Thank you for your interest in the jmeter package. I have created a bug in the BTS for the upgrade request [1]. This helps developers and users know that the upgrade has been requested, when it is being worked on, and gives everyone a shared place to discuss any concerns, etc. Feel free to open such bugs yourself if a new version is needed.
