Bug#820703: RM: openjdk-7 -- RoQA; superseded by openjdk-8; will maintained in experimental only

Package: ftp.debian.org
Control: blocks -1 by 820700 820675
X-Debbugs-CC: openjdk-7@packages.debian.org, debian-java@lists.debian.org, doko@debian.org

For the same reasons for openjdk-6 last year (#796099), please remove
openjdk-7 from unstable.

It is still kept and updated in experimental, since this is the staging
ground for the security updates for wheezy and jessie.

Removing it from unstable avoids confusion and users installing
outdated, insecure binaries.

mattia@coccia ~ % dak rm -Rn openjdk-7 avian openjdk-7-jre-dcevm
Will remove the following packages from unstable:

[...]

Checking reverse dependencies...
# Broken Depends:
libreoffice: libreoffice-subsequentcheckbase

Dependency problem found.

dak rm -Rn openjdk-7 avian openjdk-7-jre-dcevm 17.20s user 0.83s system 36% cpu 50.039 total
mattia@coccia ~ %

Now, I think that broken depends is a misdetection of dak that thinks
libreoffice-subsequentcheckbase recursively depends on openjdk-7 through
a virtual package provided (also) by it, so it should good to force.
