Lintian check for missing debug symbols in class files

Hi all,

As I worked on the ehcache package I noticed that the jar produced
didn't contain the debug symbols. That's the kind of mistake that could
be easily caught by Lintian.

Has anyone considered adding this rule to Lintian?
