Yes, this was an oversight on my part and has been removed.

I am not quite sure myself, it is my first upload of the package -
nevertheless we tested jlgui and found that the workaround does not
appear to be valid any longer.

However, I have not re-uploaded jlgui just yet. We ran into a problem
with the audio part.

When starting jlgui with openjdk it defaulted to use pulseaudio (which
was not even installed) and failed to play any sound. Using sun-java6 it
found another audio-device and played just fine. It is possible to get
sound working with openjdk by simply changing the sound-device in the
preferences - but since it does not work "out of the box" with openjdk
(at least in our case) I was wondering what we should do about it.

If you want to test it, I have committed my latest changes as revision
10951.

NB: I decided to CC bts, so people can see this is being worked on.
