Are you sure about that ?
When I have a look on the build log I see:
debian/rules build

For example:
https://buildd.debian.org/fetch.cgi?&pkg=libjogl-java&ver=1.1.1%
2Bdak1-6&arch=mips&stamp=1246315229&file=log

I would be very interested to know the solution (I have some kind of
build doc issue with other packages).
