[PC] Yes, it looks like you can package it, as no-one has taken
ownership of the RFP bug. It seems some other people might have started
to package it, so you could contact them:

[PC] I'm not familiar with Jing, but it looks to be an application
(rather than a library). Is that right? If so then you would need to
deliver the Java Jar, an executable script in /usr/bin and a man page.
Maybe someone else on the list can suggest an existing Java package that
you can base your packaging on?

[PC] I'm not too sure I understand the problem, here. Jing will compile
using GCJ, which is good.
