Re: Eclipse + Sun's jvm : problem on etch.

Hi Michael,
I figured it out by analyzing the core dump.
it turn out to be something related to a smooth function related to gtk.
I uninstalled the package containing it (I think it was gtk2-engines-smooth), and things started to work again.

I have a problem running Eclipse on Debian Etch.
I tried 3.2M4 and 3.2M3, using sun's JDK 1.5 update 04 and update 06, and I some times get
*** glibc detected *** double free or corruption (fasttop): 0x0895ef18
and some times I get a jvm crash with a log file (attached).
it used to work, but something has broken.

help would be appriciated.

We can only support debian packaged versions running on free software
here. 3.2 milestones are not packaged yet and SUN JDK is closed source.
We cant debug it.

Sorry for this bad news.

Cheers,
Michael
