With konqueror:

Settings > Configure Konqueror...

  Java & Javascript > Path to Java executable, or 'java'

And then, you can set /usr/bin/kaffe (from unstable) and report your
problems. Or you can also install other JVM's and set them up (once at a
time) in the same 'TextField'.

Thanks to try kaffe (/usr/bin/kaffe), sablevm (/usr/bin/java-sablevm),
gij (/usr/bin/gij), and other free JVM's from unstable.

If nothing feets your needs, you can install a non-free JVM.
