Speaking about Swing. Look what Graydon Hoare just committed to libgcj
(will move into GNU Classpath proper soon):
http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/java-patches/2004-q1/msg00241.html
I've just committed the following patch, which includes several
bits of work which have been independenty approved at various
times in the past, reworked slightly (mostly just javadoc'd) to
conform to suggestions made on approval. it represents my best
current understanding and working implementation of swing
buttons. it draws and interacts with the mouse under both the
cairo and plain gdk graphics implementations, depending on which
system property you run it with.
It is only JButton at the moment, but the basic swing framework now
seems to work (with multiple backends)! Volunteers for the other Swing
widgets?
Cheers,
Mark
