Interesting enough Brent Fulgham just made a libffi package when he was
hacking on sablevm another Java Virtual Machine.
(See mail at end.)

For any SableVM hackers running Debian systems, your build might
have failed because the "ffi.h" header file was missing. In
fact, Debian did not have a "libffi" package at all (which is a
problem since SableVM relies on it).

I have generated a libffi 'deb' file, which can be downloaded
from:

http://www.debian.org/~bfulgham/libffi_1.20-1_i386.deb

I have also uploaded to the Incoming directory for Debian (master).
It will take a week or so to be incorporated into the main
archive, added to the Packages.gz file, etc. Once that happens,
it will be fully under control of 'dpkg/dselect/apt'.

Have fun, and let me know if you have any problems with it.

Thanks,

-Brent
