Apparently, not everyone agrees on this (starting with Sun itself who never 
replied to demands of clarification and who continuously praises the SCSL as a 
mean to avoid forks). And, yet, there is no free implementation of Swing, 
meaning a program which uses it is, at best, in "contrib".
