Ripristinare i permessi del pc di casa

Ciao a tutti.
Non so come o cosa, ma qui a casa i permessi del pc domestico
sono saltati, ad es. /usr/bin/google-chrome-stable non appartiene a
root e i permessi non sono 4755. Ripristinati ha ripreso a funzionare.

Ora non so cos'altro c'è di sbagliato e allora ho letto il thread del
2015 sullo stesso argomento.

Mi chiedo, dato che nel portatile c'è sempre jessie, posso montare in
rete il suo hd e copiare con cp --attributes-only i permessi dal
portatile al pc fisso?

Qualche suggerimento, che non comporti lo smontaggio dei pc?
