hai provato una live, ad es la knoppix?
Guardando un po' in rete e le tue risposte, pare che il modulo per la
scheda sia r8169, prova, da root, a dare
modprobe -v r8169
il modulo r8169 è nel pacchetto del kernel 4.9.0-3
