aggiornare etch a lenny

Saluti.

Ho un server (su macchina virtuale Xen), che vorrei aggiornare da Debian
Etch a Lenny.

Sto seguendo le istruzioni del manuale ufficiale, aggiornando prima
apt-get e poi aptitude, ma ottengo:

manlio@mperillo:~$ sudo apt-get install apt
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
The following extra packages will be installed:
  apt-utils aptitude binutils gcc-4.3-base libc6 libcwidget3 libdb4.6
libept0
  libncurses5 libncursesw5 libselinux1 libslang2 libssl0.9.8 libstdc++6
  libxapian15 locales
Suggested packages:
  apt-doc lzma python-apt debtags binutils-doc glibc-doc libcwidget-dev
  xapian-tools
Recommended packages:
  aptitude-doc-en aptitude-doc libparse-debianchangelog-perl libgpm2
  libpng12-0
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  libc6-dev libpcre3-dev libssl-dev postgresql-8.1 tzdata util-linux
  zlib1g-dev
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  gcc-4.3-base libcwidget3 libdb4.6 libept0 libxapian15
The following packages will be upgraded:
  apt apt-utils aptitude binutils libc6 libncurses5 libncursesw5 libselinux1
  libslang2 libssl0.9.8 libstdc++6 locales
WARNING: The following essential packages will be removed.
This should NOT be done unless you know exactly what you are doing!
  util-linux tzdata (due to util-linux)
12 upgraded, 5 newly installed, 7 to remove and 212 not upgraded.
Need to get 21.7MB of archives.
After unpacking 25.0MB disk space will be freed.
You are about to do something potentially harmful.
To continue type in the phrase 'Yes, do as I say!'

Il manuale non accenna per niente a questo, dice solo che:
"This step will automatically upgrade libc6 and locales and will pull in
SELinux support libraries (libselinux1)"

Cosa mi consigliate di fare?

Grazie Manlio Perillo
