[SID]Problema aggiornamento

Salve.
Lanciando l'upgrade con apt-get, ottengo questo msg:

E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
E: Errore nell'analisi di networkstatus (NewVersion1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/dpkg/status
E: La lista dei pacchetti o il file di status non possono essere letti o 
aperti.

ovviamente anche con aptitude.
Dopo di che la lista dei pacchetti è tragicamente vuota.
