piix con ibm netvista



Title: piix con ibm netvista

Ciao a tutti,
ho installato su Ibm netvista con chipset intel 82801db ICH4,Debian Sarge, kernel 2.6.8-2-686.
Non riesco a fare il mount del cd rom e del cd RW. il sistema va in crash.
Già in fase di installazione se facevo caricare il modulo piix il cdrom non veniva letto e non si riusciava a procedere.
Una volta fatto il mount del cd  sono riuscito a caricare il kernel e le applicazioni di base, poi tramite rete sono riuscito a completare tutta l'installazione.
Una volta finito mi sono accorto che il modulo piix era stato caricato automaticamente e non sono più riuscito a toglierlo, ne con modprobe ne con modconf.
