Problemino localizzazione

Ciao a tutti

Chi mi spiega perche' apt mi risponde come segue:

    are supported and installed on your system.

locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory
locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory

Inoltre anche la console di mgetty non mi da le parole accentate giuste.
Devo abilitare l' UTF8?
