Problemi con Firewire Texas
Ciao a tutti,
ho un notebook Packard Bell che tra le altre cose ha la porta firewire:

in dmesg ho una sfilza di debug ma nulla che mi riconduca ad una interfaccia
di rete
[...]
ieee1394: raw1394: /dev/raw1394 device initialized
bus ieee1394: add driver raw1394
[...]
nel kernel sono presenti il supporto 1394, i moduli, ecc.
a me occorrerebbe attivare l'interfaccia firewire per il collegamento in rete.
Vorrei sapere se qualcuno ha esperienze in merito.
Inoltre con gscanbus ottengo questo:
couldn't get handle: No such file or directory
This probably means that you don't have raw1394 support in the kernel or that
you haven't loaded the raw1394 module.
anche se raw1394 e' presente nel kernel e anche in /dev
