[sarge] Modulo scb2_flash
Ho appena installato una Debian sarge (kernel 2.4.27) con il debian
network installer. L'hardware è un HP Proliant ML350 G3.
L'installazione è andata a meraviglia riconoscendo controller RAID e
scheda di rete.
L'unico neo che rimane e mi piacerebbe togliere è uno strano
messaggio durante il boot, ovvero:
scb2_flash: warning - can't reserve rom window, continuing
CFI: Found no SCB2 BIOS Flash device at location zero
scb2_flash: flash probe failed!
Ho già chiesto a Google con scarsissimi risultati, ovvero:
+BIOS flash chip on Intel SCB2 boards
+CONFIG_MTD_SCB2_FLASH
+ Support for treating the BIOS flash chip on Intel SCB2 boards
+ as an MTD device - with this you can reprogram your BIOS.

+ If compiled as a module, it will be called scb2_flash.o.
Ho il sospetto che il modulo non mi serva, ma non so bene dove
andare a toglierlo visto che sotto /etc/modules.conf non trovo
riferimenti ad esso...
