problemi con GDM
Sulla mia sarge ho upgradato ieri sera gdm alla versione 2.4.4.7 (solo
questo).
Da allora mi è sparita la sessione GNOME di default al boot (che prima
avevo) e adesso mi trovo KDE.
Se provo a selezionare la GNOME (failsafe) ottengo il seguente
avvertimento:
"this is the failsafe gnome session. You will be logged into the default
session of gnome with non startup scripts run. This is only to fix
problems in your installation".
Con gdmsetup non risolvo il problema ed eseguendo da shell gdmlogin
ottengo:
"Cannot start the greeter. The greeter version 2.4.4.7 does not match
the daemon version. You have probably just upgraded gdm. Please restart
gdm or reboot".
Naturalmente reboottando non ottengo variazioni.
Nei log files di sistema non ho trovato nulla come aiuto.
Qualcuno ha qualche idea al riguardo?
