Uscita tv e agp mode su radeon 9200

Ciao a tutti,

Ho una ati radeon 9200 su woody con backport di xfree 4.3 e kernel 2.6.3. Due 
domande:

*  Qualcuno sa dirmi se è possibile usare l'uscita tv senza dover usare i 
driver distribuiti da ati (anche solo in modalità vesa)? Ho cercato in giro, 
ma sembra che tutti usino i driver proprietari.

* La porta AGP lavora a 8x, come si vede dall'ultima riga di quest'estratto di 
dmesg:

Nell' XF86Config-4 ho correntemente

ma se provo a settare AGPMode a 8 ottengo

Sbaglio qualcosa oppure XFree4.3 non supporta 8x?
