Ettore has been involved in GNOME since pre 1.0 days and has been an important contributor to the development and maturation of GNOME. He was also a driving force in the development of Evolution. Of late, he had been spending a lot of time working on F-Spot, his photo management application. Ettore was a strong GNOME and free software advocate, a talented developer, musician and photographer.
