Gnome2 e Sarge
Ciao a tutti, sono nuovo di questa list.
Ho installato Debian Woody, e quindi ho fatto l'upgrade a Sarge, installando
successivamente Gnome,...
Quando lancio Gnome2 mi da un messaggio d'errore scritto qui sotto:
"There was an error starting the GNOME Settings Daemon.
Some things, such as themes, sounds, or background settings may not work correctly.
The Settings Daemon restarted too many times.
The last error message was:
Failed to activate 'OAFIID:GNOME_SettingsDaemon'
GNOME will still try to restart the Settings Daemon next time you log in."
Dipende dal fatto che non mi ha installato tutto, e che quindi posso aggiungere
dei pacchetti? Tra l'altro il tasto destro del mouse che dovrebbe aprire un menù
non lo apre, per cui presumo che il problema sia anche di metacity.
Alla fine, su GDM, non trovo la voce WindowMaker tra le sessioni da aprire. Dove
posso aggiungere questa voce perchè appaia?
