Sarge e dipendenze

Salve a tutti.
Ho da poco finito di installare sarge, e, naturalmente, vedo impossibile
vivere su una distribuzione testing senza apt-listchanges.

apt-get install apt-listchanges
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
  apt-listchanges: Depends: python-apt but it is not going to be
  installed
  E: Sorry, broken packages

apt-get install python-apt

apt-cache show python | grep Version
Version: 2.2.2-6

Cosa si fa in questi casi? 
Mi conviene scaricare a mano il pacchetto e installarlo usando dpkg
--force-ecc?
