Ho utilizzato i files di configurazione che mi hai mandato.
Ecco i risultati di ifconfig

sul server

tun1 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
          inet addr:10.1.1.1 P-t-P:10.129.6.1 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1450 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:10
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)

e sul client

tun0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
          inet addr:10.129.6.1 P-t-P:10.1.1.1 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1450 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:10
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)

Pero' con ping sul server ottengo

PING 10.129.6.1 (10.129.6.1): 56 data bytes
ping: sendto: Operation not permitted
ping: wrote 10.129.6.1 64 chars, ret=-1

e sul client
PING 10.1.1.1 (10.1.1.1): 56 data bytes

senza risposta.
Ho ricompilato inserendo anche i moduli ip_gre e ipip che erano sul tuo
kernel, ma niente, ma semplicemente mi e' comparsa un tunl0 in ifconfig.
Per quanto riguarda /dev/misc/net/tun ho

ls -l /dev/misc/net
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 10, 200 May 21 10:55 tun

Grazie
Ciao
              Stefano
