problemi emulatore scsi

Sia col cd-rom che con il masterizzatore, se tento di
prelevare una traccia da un qualsiasi cd audio con
cdparanoia o cdd2wav, ottengo una sfilza interminabile
di errori.  E' un problemi di kernel (attualmente ho un
2.2.19), software o in un attimo ho bruciato il cd e il
masterizzatore?
