Due problemi di compilazione

Ciao a tutti.

Vorrei sottoporrvi un problema che mi si e' presentato cervando di compilare
due programmi

PortOne:/lfs/usr/src/bash-2.05#
./configure --enable-static-link --prefix=/lfs/usr/ --bindir=/lfs/bin/ --wit
h-curses
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... configure: error: can not guess host type; you
must
 specify one

----------------------------------------------------------------------

PortOne:/lfs/usr/src/binutils-2.11#
./configure --prefix=/lfs/usr --disable-nls
Configuring for a i586-pc-linux-gnu host.
Created "Makefile" in /lfs/usr/src/binutils-2.11 using "mt-frag"
/usr/bin/ld: cannot open crt1.o: No such file or directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
*** The command 'gcc -o conftest -g -O2 conftest.c' failed.
*** You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler.

Qualcuno mi spiega cosa vogliono dire e come risolverli, pf?

Ho un P75 con su installata una debian 2.2r3

Grazie

Leo
