ebbene, se parto con un runlevel diverso i caratteri sono tutti corretti!
la situazione del runlevel 2 è questa: le scritte di boot sono normali, ma
appena mi parte il server X, andando sui terminali i caratteri sono illeggibili.
rimangono illeggibili anche quando si dà l'halt. sarà qualche errore di
configurazione di xfree: controllando col file che usavo prima non ho notato
grandi differenze... in ogni caso lo allego, sperando che possa essere d'aiuto.
<ps> per quanto riguarda la riga dei font cirillici non so come mai è comparsa.
     ho provato a commentarla ma non è cambiato niente.
