Hi,
it would probably help pointing out whether is it just that 64-bit thing
or especially MySQL 5.1.x you are asking for.
Concerning MySQL 5.0 on Etch stable amd64, we've got it in production
use, serving a few dozens of webservers, and it performs good as
expected. Keeping it saturated with memory is the key to low I/O wait
and good performance, didn't we learn that from Mr. Koehntopp? ;-)
