I' implemented a very simple captcha, and haven't had a spam entry in
my guestbook ever since.

I used code from the following link:
http://www.web1marketing.com/resources/tools/quickcaptcha/

Altough I suspect that some spammers even submit spam-entries by
humans, because I occasionally get some spam entries in my wordpress
blog, which is also protected by a captcha.

Could be some issue/bug in wordpress though, I'm not sure.
