Sorry, a little bit late, but all of my mails send from Iran,
Liban and Palesine went blocked/trashed by proxad.net.

Which ISP use a Mainboard with a Soundcard On-board in a Server?

No singel Mainboard I use in my "big" Servers has Sound On-Board.
Only some stupid Graphic-Cards with 64 and 128 MByte of memory.  :-/

What about:

apt-get --purge remove libdiscover2 dhcp-client ipchains hotplug
                       ppp pppoe pppconfig pppoeconf +modconf

which should remove thos stuff loading tonns of modules.

And why do you install "hotplug" and "*discover*" first?
