Resources aren't a problem. Controlling the order of loading sometimes
is, though. For instance, if you have multiple different network cards,
which one is eth0, eth1, ... depends on the order the modules are loaded,
and that's pretty much random if udev or hotplug autoloads them.
My workaround has been to add a custom initscript that unloads those
modules, then load them manually in the desired order from /etc/modules.
