run-parts going defunct

I have found very little current information on this issue. I'm tracking testing right now, and recently run-parts hangs indefinatly when initiated by cron. However when I manually run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily from the command line, it completely successfully. I have tried removing logrotate from the list of duties, however it just stops on a different one.
