Eh, interesting. I tried that on top of md (it supports online expansion of
RAID1 arrays, and it all blowed up. Good to know it is a md bug and not a
lvm2 or a XFS bug, then.

Exactly. I watched the test system reduce itself to pieces
(filesystem-wise)... sniff... ;-)
