Qlogic FC Multipath and engenio

Dear List,

I have recently bought my first set of FC devices, and am having a little trouble
configuring them to run correctly.

I have a multipath setup between my 2 port hba on each of my servers, and my two raid systems have 2 ports as well, all connected over 2 qlogic switches (not connected to each other). The raid systems are StorageTek boxes with then engenio software - 9.15

This means, that each server see each disk twice.

I have just compiled a 2.6.15.2 kernel for this setup.

What do I need to do to run multipath? Does the qlogic (qla2xxx) driver in the vanilla kernel support multipath? If so, do I need to do something to enable it?
Or do I need to use the one on the qlogic download pages?

Can I use udev to sort out my device names for me? or do I have to use lvm2?
I don't need any of the other lvm features...

Engenio provides a 'RDAC' driver to do the multipath support - Do I need this? Can't the qla2xxx driver do this automagically? - and use udev to do the mapping?

Hoping someone can shed a bit of light on this,

Thanks

Andrew
