RE: Kernel panic on Dell with Debian
I found this problem recently with a power edge 2850 it works fine running a
2.4.x kernel (and still is) though it had problems with a driver in 2.6.x
I tracked it back to the point where the driver had been renamed form 2.4.x
to 2.6.x and the 2.6.x kernel always wanted to the old driver name which it
could not find.
