I do not use "dbmail" but a selfcoded one based on "courier". Searching
ist times faster as the hell and I can have as much messages in a
mailbox as my "postgresql" support rows.

Currently I am coding a GUI MUA, based on the ideas of mutt, so each
user has only ONE Mail-Table and the mailfolders are virtuell...

Both, Server and MUA are heavy alpha version and currently not public
since I am implementing only functions I need, (and I have not enough
time to work on a public release)

My current Mail-Table has over 7.17 million messages stored with over
26 GByte.

No one should try to open such folder with a MUA which can not limit
IMAP requests. Mutt, was not crashing, but consuming the whole memory
of my Devel-Station an AMD Opteron 240 and was running about 20 hours
to get the mails sorted.

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day
