Hello,

I've got HP EVA SAN. For my linux machines - my people presented some
logical volumes that i cannot see - only restart helps..

My FC controllers are qlogic qla2300 ..

Does anyone knows an easy way to detect such disks ?

I've found that for SANs Linux' HotSwap/HotPlug doesn't work atleast in 2.4....2.6 with the default/included QLogic drivers don't seem to either. The drivers never report the new devices to the SCSI subsystem. Worse god forbid you don't have a link up when you first boot, after a while it gets disabled with no way to re-enable it short of a reboot.
